1st Team Adds Powerhouse to Social Media Capabilities |
|
JOHNSTOWN,PITTSBURGH, STATE COLLEGE PA –1st Team, a professional services firm whose offerings include interim executive, M&A and marketing / advertising, is pleased to welcome Tanner Maluchnik to the organization as the Social Media Manager.
Maluchnik, 24, will lead 1st Team’s social media branch and manage this aspect for clients, ensuring ultimate marketing and branding. “I look forward to the potential of utilizing 1st Team’s traditional media experience with my experience of social and new media,” said Maluchnik. “It is important to have a depth of knowledge of the two, in order to effectively spread your message. Being able to successfully provide both mediums to our clients is a large part of our continued forward thinking to positively impact our clients”.
Maluchnik is a 2010 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a degree in Information Sciences and Technology. Prior to his position at 1st Team, he served as an independent IT Consultant and also was a social media intern for a web development company in State College. He adds a depth of real-world and formal education experience in social media marketing, unmatched by existing advertising agencies. His expertise will allow clients to meet specific goals and industry demands relating to social media.
“1st Team’s recruitment of Tanner is a sign of full belief that social media is in the early stages of its revolutionizing the current means of professional communication,” said Rocco Petrilli, 1st Team partner and Chief Executive Officer. “We intend to take this product and service offering to its full potential with our current and future client base.”
1st Team aims to serve as a resource for clients and utilize social media tools in a highly effective and timesaving manner. With the change in communication trends it is even more important for organizations to embrace this form of marketing.
“It is mind-boggling the influence that social media is having on society, from the Egypt revolution dubbed as the ‘Facebook Revolution’, the breaking news before any news media could report it of the Chile earthquakes or the communication evolution from the short 140 character limit on Twitter,” added Maluchnik.

1st Team Joins the Effort to "LIFT JOHNSTOWN" |
|
An important part of our corporate culture is the idea that being part of the communities we serve means more than simply doing business there. Such is the case here in Johnstown, PA where 1st Team began and where our corporate headquarters are located.
For that reason, 1st Team has become an active participant in the LIFT JOHNSTOWN initiative. LIFT JOHNSTOWN is not a formal, structured organization. It’s a group that supports and helps to coordinate the efforts of clubs and organizations that are each focused on improving a particular aspect of the area’s quality of life. On their website, the group describes itself this way:
“The primary goal of Lift Johnstown is simple but ambitious: we want to
unite the community in an effort to choose our community’s future,
as opposed to simply waiting around to see what might happen.”
LIFT JOHNSTOWN stakeholders work together to raise project funding, recruit volunteers and increase people’s awareness of the many good things that are happening around them.
“Making People Aware” is a task that our Marketing and Creative Services divisions are uniquely qualified to do. 1st Team is working on a series of videos, social media and an overall communications plan to support the efforts of LIFT JOHNSTOWN. This group is making a positive impact on the community and 1st Team is proud to be part of it. www.johnstownchamber.com/LiftJohnstown
